I have seen a few trucks with cooling hose routed to the back of the block.

i agree 100% with tugboat DO NOT BLOCK IT OFF.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

if you block it off the block cannot vent pressure and crank case pressure is a very bad thing it can blow rings off the pistons and do some nasty damage inside the motor

if u block it off, the first thing u will do is probably blow out the tappet cover gasket. to replace that gasket involves removing the vp.

the best way to do it is get some pvc or just some rubber hose and extend it to the back of the motor and turn it down. it will make a big difference in the oil u will notice. have it hanging down past the frame a lil, and u wont get oil all over the place. makes a big difference

I just extended mine down further.. right above front axle and it stopped all the oil from being all over front of the motor
