new guages, now what
I installed exhaust, trans temp, fuel pressure and boost glow shift guages over the weekend.
I have the 99 dodge 2500 with the cummins. I tow a 27ft elkridge i think it weighs about 8500 to 13000.
My question is iif i am towing up a steep grade what temps and pressures should I be aware of,thanks in advance for any info.

but at least you have something on there for reference. a fass in not cheap, but neither is an injection pump. So in the long run the fass is cheap compared to things that can go bad. I would say get an edge ez and save for a trans.
I have had no probs from my fass system. I wish I would have learned about it before my lift pump died abd killed my injection pump. I have the edge ez and would recommed it also. It gives a little power boost and 1 or 2 mpg.
i have never had luck with any autometer products period. i have had 3 different type of autometers in my truck none have lasted over a year without going back to autometer. im running glow shift now and they seem so far to be as good or better than autometer. i know this i took them all out of the box and they all worked, that was a major improvement over autometer. i had a fuel psi gauge go back 3 times before it would work and when i finally got one that did work it lasted 3 months before it died again. but stock turbos and towing settings keep it under 1250-1350.if your gonna go higher than that keep it under 10 seconds at those temps.
