Default 2000 5.9 MPG!!

K once again i got a new truck its a 2000 with a standard 5 speed truck has 51 thousand miles has air intake ,4 inch exhaust , and juice with attitude,3:55 gears with stock tires and wheels. I only Average 14 16 around town and 20 on the freeway and thats trying really hard. I had a 99 with j/a, raptor lift pump, injectors, exhaust , and 35 inch tires i averaged 19-21 around town and 26 on the freeway? should there be that much difference? Do i need to do injectors and lift pump and all that stuff or do standards just get worse gas mileage im lost. I figured my new grandpa truck would get better. any help would be great so start asking questions

Without a doubt get a lift pump to save your VP44... A set of injectors will help out a little with MPGs also.

I have a question cause im a lil confused. I have a 02 cummins and they did the upgrade and put the lift pump in the tank. Should I still get a FASS system and just added it in line?

Get a raptor, airdog or a fass no matter what. Another difference could be if one was a 2wd or 4wd.
