Well I think it's time to give it a second chance. I really do like the truck. It's just a money pit. A few more thousand and a few more weeks. I'll get her straightened out or die trying!

Thoroughbred diesel is where I bought the injection pump and lift pump. The sensors were bought @ autozone. Last tank I got 13.333333 mpgs, so we are headed in the right direction. I think there is still a boost leak.

make a boost leak fitting for your turbo, cheap and easy. just need a piece of pvc pipe, a cap for it, rubber to go to the inlet on your turbo, and a valvestem from a tire store, oh and a gage. then fill her up and spray it down. i think mine cost me like 20 bucks to make and its something good to have around. did you ever try to set the valves again? might want to do that, just something that might help. how about injectors? whats in it now? new ones helped mine a lot! do you run 2stroke oil in your fuel? any adatives to the diesel?and how heavy is your foot?

I don't run oil or any additives. Should I? What works best? Tell me more about running 2 stroke?

2 stroke just adds more lubracative properties to the diesel fuel, just 1oz per gallon is good, run smokless i use the tcw3 i think its called from walmart. plus in the cold months i put a little diesel power service in too

the 2stroke oil is a great cheap additive. it is real world proven to be much better on the engine and increase fuel economy up to 1.5 mpg. you can buy a gallon of it at wally world for around 13 bucks and if you icrease 1 mpg you will save almost 80 bucks including the cost of the oil. you also might wanna checl out a new set of 50 hp sticks to help fuel mileage as well. a good set of 8 hole sticks will increase as much as 3 mpg also. its all these little things that will add into some thing big. but just one small suggestion stop buying your electronics for autozone go some where that deals in genuine parts cost more but the quality is well worth the added cost.

I would agree on the auto zone comment they are the wal mart of auto parts. No offense to anyone who works there the all of the stores in my area are filled with idiots with maybe one or two guys that know whats going on. Just my experiences take it or leave it.
