Default Should i buy this truck?

Hello all! I just sold my 06 3500 because i got offered a pretty sweet deal. I think i may go back to a 2nd gen 24v and buy a boat for this upcoming summer. I have a friend that is selling an 02 Dodge 3500 dually with a 6 inch lift, 6 brand new tsl super swampers (i believe their 35's), its got stacks, cowl hood, brush guard, 6 speed with an hd clutch, motor is mostly stock but i think it may have an edge, the truck has around 140k miles on it. The bad is that its been through hell and back... (Like running it through a house trailer because he was pissed off at the people living there) he knocked the thing off its foundation . Its gonna need a new paint job because of the whole house thing. The motor and trans still seems strong and its got a clear title.

It also just got a new power steering pump but he wrecked it drifting yesterday so now it needs a new bumper)

He's asking 10,500, what do you guys think?

my opinion would be no not for that price if it needs paint and a bumper that and with the history behind it i would have a very hard time convincing myself to buy any vehicle thats been run that hard but thats just my opinion

i wouldnt give him anymore than 3K for it with all you just described and the only reason i would even give that is for the drive train.

I wouldn't buy it. If he has ran it through a trailer, imagine the other things he's done with it. There's other trucks in better condition I'm sure and I would just keep looking.

Its not much of a deal anyway, even if the truck wasnt all beat up he's still a little high on his price.

There are better trucks to be had for less money.

There is no way I would buy the truck unless you would get it for around 4,000. Just think of all the other things he did to it.

If you can get it for cheap, it would be a nice build truck on a stock and not punished motor but for 10k, hell to the no! If u can get it for like 5k, go for it.
