i have three codes on my 01 dodge 2500 24v HO cummins with 6spd manual.
1)P0216, injection timing timing control circuit malfunction
2)P1689,controller area network bus failure(no communication between CM551 and VP44 pump module)
3)P0121, Throttle/pedal position sensor/switch A circuit range/performance
i have them under another thread but i decided maby i should put in on here becuase the other thread isn't related to two of these IMO....and i need all the help i can get

it runs allright going down the road i usualy set cruise when ever i can becuase it backs off to idle becuase of the TPS issue. im gonna pull the secondary fuel pump and see if that is cuaseing the VP44 problem becuase i hadn't had the other two codes untill i put it on. it still has power and i can't hear it missing the only code i thought id get was the TPS when i scanned it.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

i don't even know what the P0216 and the P1689 codes are telling me ...so if anybody could suggest the problem behind them that would be great!!

Tps can cause a lot of trouble all by itself, ceck your pressures my acted real irratic just off idle, heavier throttle was ok,did not show a code for it said another one, changed tps 300.00 runs perfect

im thinking the psg on the pump is dead or about to be. if its bad it can cause tps issues as well. and it with a communication code too, makes me think pump more than anything else.
