Default throttle position sensor???

i know there's probably a few threads on the TPS sensor's on a 2001 24H.O. cummins with 6 spd manual. is there multiple sensors? like a pedal sensor? or just the one ontop of the engine? its geting worse as i drive it more and i realy need it fixed. problem is i see these sensors for 80bucks or also 300 and idk what i should buy. so if anyone could help id apreciate it! i scan it and it comes out as TPS/pedal so idk if that means theres also one on the pedal...any help is apreciated

What problems are you having? Prob the expensive one. There is a guy that sells an aftermarket one. I forget his name though. I got one and it works fine . Less $$$$ too.

If it is the APPS (TPS) sensor.. AFTERMARKET APPS THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR ('98.5-'02)-Dodge Cummins Diesel Truck Accessories – Geno’s Garage

What was the problem no power, power sometimes,to much power..

There is only one sensor the APPS (TPS).These do wear out in time, but before you replace it make sure that is the problem.

can't you also take a volt reading and adjust them as a first try. I did it on our truck just satisfy me they were correct, didn't really notice a difference. ED

P1689 No Communication Between ECM
and Injection Pump Module Fuel Pump Relay in the PDC is damaged or missing.

Check the relay under the hood drivers side switch it with another one under there.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

P0216 Fuel Injection Pump Timing Failure -VP44 failure (Physical failure)
- Poor fuel lubricant
-Poor fuel pressure

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

P0121 Accelerator Position Sensor (APPS)
Signal Voltage Too Low APPS sensor failure or out of calibration
