Default Any suggestions on where to start?

While muddin 5 days ago my truck died. So I got out and popped the hood and not to my suprise everything was soaked. Figuring it was just something that got wet I didn't worry about the fact that it took 15 minutes to get my truck back started. Here i am 5 days later and the truck still doesn't want to start every now and then. It might start 5 times in a row, and the 2 hrs later it won't want to start. The engine turns over but won't crank. If i leave it set another few minutes it cranks up and runs great. Lift pump seems to be operating fine I'm thinking its a bad wire but not sure where to start looking.

Could be a short. Maybe fuel is bleeding out somewhere. I had a similar problem with fuel leaking from filter canister.

thats a doozy go over a check list of a possible bad battery connection, bad ground, check for codes on the computer check the pressure at the vp44 and see what it is, maybe the lift pump isn't working when it won't start. just a few things to check out
