Trans rebuild
I have a 2001 dodge 2500 5.9 ltr with 171,000 on it. I'm wanting to do some performance upgrades to it not much just like a cold air a juice with attitude chip and maybe sometime down the road new injectors. I'm wanting to rebuild my tranny though and was wondering if theres any certain kits i need to get. Or whats the best bang for my buck?

Suncoast,DTT and Goerend transmissions.Do you want to rebuild it yourself or do you know a person to do it.If so a suncoast master rebuilt kit with a TC and Valve body will work nice.Luke at diesel dawgs will hook you up with this kit.
Or if you want to exchange your trans for one that is are ready done you can do that to.

I just got mine back from a shop in Red Deer. They used a Banger Overhaul Kit including High Energy Clutches. 3xBillet T/C, Biller Input Shaft, Billet Fwd Servo, changed all solenoids, transducers, and servos. It is 1000% better then ever. T/C is also locking, preffy much makes it a 6 speed!

Whole different animal when the TC locks up when it shifts in second gear and stays that way until it goes below 10 mph.At least that is the way mine is.
