Default Axle swap

I bought a 99 model parts truck the other day for its transfer case and got to lookin and the frontend is in excellent shape. So my question is has anyone swapped a 99 model front axle into a 2000 model cummins? I think i read on dan the gear mans site that they changed a few things internally for 2000 but i didnt know if they would be an easy swap or if i should just sell it and rebuild mine, thanks for the help.

they will basically bolt right in, but if your 2000 has abs and the 99 doesn't you will have issues there and I am not sure but I think in 2000 the front brakes became bigger. I know brakes on my 01 were bigger than my dads 99
