Potential 2001 Dodge 2500 2wd owner.
Hey guys. Im looking at financing a 2001 dodge 2500 it has ONLY 116k miles, can be seen at this following link:
RAM 2500, DODGE for sale from Freedom Auto Sales
My questions and concerns are:
Were all the 24 valve issues hammered out by 2001?
Can i lift, or preferably level it without custom fabbing?
What kind of MPG should i expect, being that its 2WD.
What are some mods i should look at doing to it that will help performance, and mpg without killing my pocketbook?
I have them talked down considerably from their asking price, to 8.5k, trade in my current POS toyota for 1.5, so basically id get it for 7, or 12 after interest. This will be my first time financing something and i want to build some credit.
Thanks for your help yall!

2. Leveling can be done easily with coil spacers and they don't cost too much at all
3. With a few modifications, I'd say mid 20's
4. #1 mod, fuel pressure gauge, followed by a good lift pump (FASS or AirDog). About $650. 4" exhaust and a good air filter assembly, $1000 for both roughly. Thoase will help you significantly.

Thanks man ill look into it, im wanting to do the banks git-kit, a friend has a pod cluster for me with boost, pyro and fuel pressure. Im not too worried about the lift pump as it has the truck has a 3 year warranty behind it, which will let me save up for a good one, hopefully it wont go out for a while(knock on wood). As far as the air filter assembly i was looking into a stage 2 afe intake kit.
