Not to sound rude but you need to go slap the ______ out of your buddy for stacking chips without a better fuel pump. Ill pray that your injector pump isn't bad for you cuz that's an expensive item to replace.

Do NOT waste your money on an intank pump - they are JUNK !! Does it already have a pump in the tank?

If you have P1688 code an it keeps coming back - you need a new VP-44 and probably a lift pump as well.

get an Airdog or FASS and then replace the injection pump, I personally like blue chip diesel for the VP-44 pump, I haven't had any personal experience with them, but I know people that have and those people don't have problems with their VP-44

Dont waste your $$ money on a Hot Rod pump. Many have and were disappointed. SO pump will work for you just fine, even with the 150 hp injectors.

I hope you are considering an upgraded lift lump.

Lift pump atleast 100GPH and that will more than likely come with upgraded 1/2" line, if and when you get the new VP, for the love of God, if you chip it, do not do the pump tap unless you got the money to replace it again because it voids the warrenty instanstly, and overheats the electronics over time, get a new fuel filter then a fuel gauge, and make sure you fuel doesn't drop below at least 15psi. i've replaced to VP pumps in the last year and a half, and the last one was still under the warrenty time, but i tapped it, and yea, no more warrenty

stacking chips that ant compatable can cause other issuse like frying the ecm or the computer on your injector pump. never a good idea to stack. i agree go slap him . injector pump and a good lift pump not a intank one tho.
