Could be a strange question but all the 2500's around my area have a rear sway bar. Mine doesnt?!?! Was this a stock item that was possibly removed before I bought the truck or am I not the only one? Would this help adding one back if it was removed?

 

I believe it may have been a package option, and yes they do help.

 

I'm pretty sure thats part of the towing package that Dodge offered. I think that most diesels came from the factory with them unless somebody ordered it with out it.
They call it a load/trailer stabilizer so thats what leads me to think its part of the towing package

Like for instance my truck was bought right off the lot, not ordered, by my grandpa. It came with the towing package, which was an extra cost option.

 

It will help,I would go with a aftermarket one like hellwig.
