Default Buzzing sound under hood 99 dodge

My Dad and brother have a 99 dodge that is buzzing in the fuse box underneath the hood. The engine will turn over but will not fire. It acts as if it is not getting fuel to the VP44. Any ideas or suggestions?

I'd say pull the cover off the fuse box and see whats making noise. There are a few relays in there, if one is clicking or buzzing swap it out with another one.

I can't think of anything that would buzz in the fuse box. How about grounds? Power into the fuse box connections? Its not a fuel pump on the block buzzing?

Hey, Rawilliams does your edge surge a bit when really loading it down. I have plenty of power but it is a bit jerky when climbing a hill with a load. Real quick like it is shorting out and then coming back.

I was just readingsomething about a guy who has a buzzing coming from under his dash and everyone thinks it's a problem with his fuel pump...

Only when I'm pulling hard, REAL hard. Surges between 57 and 54 psi boost, and I can feel it in the truck. Definately a fuel issue.

You get 54 to 57 psi of Boost? I only get about 37 max. I have a fass fuel system and the gauge never goes below 10 psi when feeding the VP44. When i put the edge on stock the surging stops.

he is running twins. the buzzing sounds like the lift pump on the side of the block, and if its running when ur trying to start it, it could be putting it in a hard start situation. if there sure it aint coming from any lower, than the fuse box, it may also be coming from the ABS block right next to the fuse box. the ABS system on my green truck never worked since i got it, it was missing the relay for it. nticed it one day, and plugged it in, and it buzzed like a SOB so i pulled it and just run it with out ABS. but that wouldnt cause it not to start. good luck getting it figured out

With returning to 0 on the Edge it may be a connection issue or a problem with the Edge itself.
I have a compound turbo system that has really increased my boost. I used to make 37 PSI MAX, and it put my HX35 to its limits.
