gots the 6 speed i thinkits call the nv5600 or something. anyways what weight should i run? also gl5 or...? heavier weight with higher miles? if i remember right its 75w85 right? just curious i cant trust the local parts store.

 

No GL5 or ATF for that matter. It takes the synchromesh fluid. Amsoil makes it. You can get it from the dealer too. There may be other places to get it but you'll have to ask around.

 

Amsoil will be the best and cheapest.

I ran royal purple just matched the gl rating with what my owners manual said, been like that for 2 yrs now. I think I paid 8.99 per quart at oreillys

 

The NV5600 takes a lightweight oil. 5w-30. Here's some spec's for you. Ram NV5600 specs
