new truck need advise

im looking at getting a 2001 dodge 2500 short bed six speed, it has a bully dog chip, smarty programer, dual disk clutch, 4'' straight pipe 5" tip and 5x18 injectors. it has 148000 on it the guy is asking 10500 for it dose it sound like a good deal,

body shape? leaks? lift pump and vp44?

Ya deffinently check the vp and see if it has an aftermarket lift pump those are really big injectors for a stock turbo so also maybe check the turbo

it dosnot have guages and ill have to find out about the rest thanks for the input. im still learning about diesels.

The VP 44 is the injection pump on the these years of truck. And with that much fuel as stated above make sure it has a lift pump and check the turbo as well
