Looked around didn't really see anything on here bout it... Does anyone else's truck lope for a few seconds immediately after running at wide open throttle? Like once it returns to idle immediately after running wide open, it lopes for about 5-7 seconds. I always didn't think much about it, just figured it was extra fuel in there at idle gettin burned off since it was gettin so much fuel at wot.

 

Mine will do it to, couple blips of the throttle and it catch's back up to itself, i was told it was because of big injectors and high rpm, stock rpm is like 2800 or something like that, so thats what i was told and to not worry about it so i dont, i have seen it alot less with the adrenaline than with the edge stuff.

 

mine does it too, i don't have huge injectors, just 75hp. i think its pretty normal as well.

 

same here only with stock injectors and edge on 5 after wot

 

Mine did the same with stock injectors running an Adrenaline.

 

Mine is doing it bad and i have the Adrenaline and it misses at 2900 rpm it was running great right after I installed inj now not so much?

 

Yeah I've noticed it with the 2 sets of 150's ive had. Makes me feel better that I'm not singled out. Sounds pretty mean for a few seconds haha. I romped on it today and then stopped for a red light while it was loping, got some real interesting looks from the people sitting around me haha. God I love these trucks

 

Your draining the VP. Its on the verge of air locking it. Just let off of the throttle slowly or blip your throttle a few times and you will be ok. I carry a 19mm wrench with me now just in case.

Yup. Couple times. Big injectors, hard fitting fueling boxes will do that.
