well i hate to do it or say it but i think its time for a muffler.i am running 5in stacks. my 3 year old daughter sits in the back seat and my second child is due anytime so i need it quiter in the cab but i still want it to bark outside the truck.and i DO NOT want cab drone...who is running what?

 

I've run the resonator that comes with the Flo-Pro kit, and it doesn't have any drone at all. It's not as loud as some I've heard, although I think it still sounds good.

 

I ran straight 4" from turbo back. mbrp downpipe and some 4" pipe from previous truck. other than drone @ 45-50mph under load, it's actually quieter than with stock down pipe. I'm not running any muffler unless uncle sam said so.....

 

i run a magnaflow. sounds good, not much drone, but it's loud when ya want it to be.

 

I have stock exhaust minus the muffler and the resonator. I replaced both with 4" pipe... Sounds great. No drone at all on mine until about 80mph LOL!
