Question Truck Rear Too High

I have a new to me 2000 Ram 3500 Dually. My old towing truck was much lower in the rear. this one has 4 inch blocks between the axle and the leaf springs. I'm having trouble matching my fifth wheel up to it. I read somewhere that there was a tsb on this problem. Has anyone else had this problem? Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.
Dennis

I'm pretty sure dodge used 4" blocks on everything from 89 to '02, I don't know before or after that. You could drop it I suppose, or raise the front.

Thanks a WHOLE BUNCH!!! Now to call the dealer and see if they have any idea what I'm talking about. I hope I didn't post twice. The first one vanished somewhere in the internet????

TSB=lowering kit, and you have to pay for the work

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

nothing leaves the dealer for less than $100

a friend of mine bought a new D-max and had the same problem. his was due to the box being deeper on the new Chebbies. we took the other route and welded new spring perches on the top side of the 5th wheel axles and mounted the springs to the topside of the axles.
that right....the rednecks performed a suspension lift on a 5th wheel...but it worked well and he has much better tail clearance at the back of his rig now. after doing his we are gonna do my 28' traveltrailer in the spring.
