Default hx-55

my friend told me i should twin turbo my truck (01 5.9 h.o.)...and even found a turbo its an hx-55 and im prety sure thats for a semi. either way if its possible id spool my current turbo into the hx-55 would that even be possable or would i just not have enough umph to spool it?

I'm running a HX35 and S400. Spools up really nice. Know the specs on the HX55?

no i don't know much about it really he just said he got it and its used and thought id have fun with it...i know its a holset hx-55. the flow rate is 1050 but i still am learning about diesels and terms. ik how to work on them not specs so idk how much help that will be i did some searching but the data i came up with just didn't make sence to me

I think an hx-55 might be alittle small unless you wanna build a set of compound equivalent to a super b twin setup. I think the exhaust wheels are like a 77mm i think and only like a 16 cm housing. They are only rated for about 500 horse or so

the way i see it is if im hiting over 500 horse that turbos not gonna be my biggest problem. im upgrading as i have the time and money. so there's things on this truck that can't handle that kinda power. i just don't know weather id actualy benifit with it.
