finally !!!

Default finally !!!

i finally got my cummins its a 01 2500 extended cab with 8' bed. and now i dont know where to start as its bone stock and its driving me nuts . so could some of you seasoned vets of this site offer some advice ? i love my truck and thanks in advance for the help.

Fuel pressure gauge, first and foremost. Possibly an aftermarket pump of some kind second.

If it is an auto start saving to build or by a built trans. That and the lift pump like RAM CR 24V said are the Achilles heals for 98.5-02

I agree with all of those recommendations above. After those i would look into getting a air intake of some sort and a 4 inch exhaust if it doesn't have them already. Slight thread jack real quick 01trailerpuller you were at weekend on the edge? I was there too

Have someone check the old front end not really a performance thing,but a safty thing.Ball joints,track bar,tie rod ends etc..

is there big between fass and air dog? im lookin at a air dog 150. and pressure gauge is definite thanks for all the advice guys im excited as hell to get this project started

It's a matter of preference really between FASS and Airdog. I am partial to Airdog myself...
Watch out though, it's a slippery slope, pretty soon you will be too broke to drive from all the Bombs you add to your truck. Take it from someone who knows...

I myself like fass because they support the racing I do with sponsorship and contingency money. agreed with above fuel pressure gauge and a fuel system is needed. then it's time to figure out what your plans are for the truck. daily drive with some racing or what?
