anyone interested in swaping my manual for your auto?
looking to swap out of my manual and going to an auto, i know stupid move, but the wife wants an auto. its a 5 speed in the idaho area, looking to put the trucks next to each other and just swaping everything from truck to truck. the manual needs a new clutch, it slips a bit.

I have a Transmission, PCM, wiring harness, out of a 99 if you feel like piecing stuff together.
Putting the trucks side by side is going to be the easiest though. There was a LOT of little things when we did my swap that I wouldn't have gotten if I didn't find a truck to swap with.
Might be easier to find a truck with a junk body and pull everything off of it.
IMO if you throw a valve body and a good torque converter into the trans as you put it together you'll like it. I know I like mine. If only the ATS wasn't so darn tight!!!
Edit: For you, I would seriously consider just trading the truck off. In my case, I had modified my truck enough(some of them non-removable) that it would have been more work to swap all that to a new truck. If your modifications could easily be taken off It might be better to go buy an auto truck and swap it over.
That being said, I understand the reasoning to keep the truck. I learned a LOT in my swap. Mostly because I had to figure out why nothing wanted to work.

honestly i don't mind the swap, and for finding out why things wont work isn't that big of an issue. sorry haven't updated the sig for a while but there has been some engine mods done that i really don't want to just walk away , we put an industrial block in it instead of the 53 so kinda don't want to have to worry about finding a non 53 where i already have one. how much do you want for the trans stuff? i might be interested in it?

i think the work involved would be the same but the cost is much different, the 5600 is much more. the hardest part is all the interior swap, if you have both trucks there its pretty easy but i did mine from cross country noone local wanted to do it . if you want help with the swap i could definetly lend you a hand with it thoug, if all the parts are there it should only take a weekend! its not terible
