Default Another VP44 death?

So I just put new 5" exhaust on and went to take it for a test drive. I got out on the road and was fine. Stopped and brought it up to 15 pounds of boost and let the brake off, I went 30 feet and it cut right out and died. Wont start and I got code po253. Is this the end of the VP44? Any help would be great Thanks

P0253 Fuel Injection Pump Fuel Valve Open Circuit

I believe that would be one of the worst codes to see.

Another vp-44 bites it hard.

Sure sounds like a siezed rotor to me.

Do you know what the fuel pressure was doing? Thats what usually does it.

according to Blue Chips Diagnostic Page, If you have a 1688 Code and the truck won't start, You need a new VP.

Did you remove the nut holding it to the gear?

You did remove the injection lines right?
