JACK for starters Metric sockets and ratchet. allen head wrenches for the brake caliper. big hammer to brake the seal on the outer axle seal ( have to pull the axle shaft). Wheel nut socket (really big). Hopefully it did not damage the spindle. If the baering race is melted to the spindle then you will need a die grinder to cut it off. Either a new axle seal or rtv silicone for the outer seal. While your in there might as well change the wheel seal in the back of the hub.

I doubt that its a wheel bearing, but I could be wrong.

I've seen brake problems with these trucks several times. The calipers are supposed to float to center themselves on the disk, when they dont do that, it plays hell on things.

I didn't see anything wrong, I replaced the caliber , event pulled off the rotar , possibly the ebrake was stuck but not sure, drove for 5 miles and drivers side is no hotter than pass side.

Don't know it I fixed it or not

Maybe the caliper was just sticking but not froze??

Another thing to look at is the brake hose. What happens is they breakdown on the inside but still look good on the outside. They can act as a check valve and cause the caliper to stick. The rotor looked good?

Carry a jack (and maybe a few tools) dipshit boss...
