gotta love owning a dodge
Yesterday I was driving and all of a sudden my abs light and e brake light came on, of course advanced said they couldn't check it and big o wanted 45 dollars to check it so I held off on it and driving home hit a bump in the road, and guess what happened? Both lights turned off ha.
But seriously any hints to why both lights came on? I kept trying to release the e brake thinking it was stuck but nothing changed and it drove fine, then on the side road driving home doing 65 my speedo was reading off about 3 miles per hour but after the bump the speedo worked normally and the lights turned off.
Maybe that's all it needed was a bump in the road

Can't be worse then mine... going down the road my speedo will shutoff, tach stop working, then all gauges go to 0...
All my warning lights come on... it's because of the steering wheel, all the wires are wrapped up tight around it... if I hit my kick panel really hard it all works again

It's not just Dodge either. AT my last place of employment we had a fleet of 05-08 Chevy 2500 HD's and only one or two had fully functioning dash clusters.
Electronics just suck, I'll stick with my old rust bucket.

When I bought mine it was doing the same things - ABS light, Parking brake light, and erratic spedometer (my spedo didn't work untill around 20 MPH). The problem was a sensor in the rear end. I bought one from the local auto parts store for like $15 and five minuts of work later all three were fixed.
I hope this works for you

Well its back on and doing the same thing so I guess I might as well try the rear sensor. Looks like I need to get a fsm so I know where to look and such. Just reminds me of the jeep days.
Is there a stronger possibility its a front sensor because my speedo is only running 3 off at 65 and about 5 off at 75? I think its rediculous they could check the abs light on my chevy and ranger but not on my dodge
