Default Missfires from time to time?

there are certain cases where my truck will missfire. the most common occurance is every now and then after a hard pull it will miss once off the throttle and under rare occurance it will miss in the middle of a pull (typicly only misses once). ideas? my truck is a 99 24v 5spd with 26k on the odometer. whats not factory is 4" exhaust K&N filter, Banks bighead turbo upgrades, banks ottomind and a airdog 150 with proper straw in the tank. fluids are amsoil in the motor and i have been runnin around a 150 to 200:1 mix of 2stroke oil in my diesel for lube. any input apretiated

This would be either the injectors, that would depend on miles or km on truck or the vp44(injection pump) is going up mostly the electronics are getting hot. What is the fuel pressure on the truck making these pulls.

pintchin my fingers that its not early sighns of the pump going out, the whole truck only has 26,000miles on it. fuel press by my isspro gauge reads 12 at the lowest on pulls. when i bought the truck with the banks stuff on it the pressure would easily drop to 4-5psi at WOT thus the fancy fuel system bein put on. thanks guys

funny truth is i dont remember it missing at all pre airdog

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

if possibly injectors maybe its time to try a snake oil of somekind to see if it will clean stuff out? MarvelMystery oil ect?

Have all fittings been checked for tightness? If it started happening after the AirDog install it may be possible. What do you mean by the proper draw straw in the tank?

I had similar issues when I first bought my truck. EJWA, and a lift pump in the tank. Fuel pressure would actually drop to 0PSI on level 1, WOT. It's so sad that some people just do, with out any research.

well it bucked on me last week once while merging onto a highway but other than that it has really ran well with a ever so slight feel of that usual miss when im off the gas.

but just today after i felt that slight miss the check engine light came on and it gave me a P0253 which i know is IP high resistance? or somethin of the same kind. any checks i should be performing other than just plug connections before figuring that the IP is on its way out?

Also could i just unplug the Banks Ottomind wire tap on the IP to see if that is causing havoc on things? thanks
