The ol Velcro - THROW STUFF TIL IT STICKS! HELP!
Well comin home from campin on sunday night my volt gauge stopped readin any charge and after a few miles i lost power to my stereo, and gauge cluster went out. I replaced both the batteries and it fixed the gauge til i got hime. Drove it monday night, and did the same thing. I replaced the alternator. Still reads no charge.
What else could it be or where do i start lookin?

the alternator is externally regulated, i think by the ecm, but it could be pcm.
i might look into putting an external regualtor off of an early dodge. search the web and you can find diagrams on how to do it.

Maybe a bad alternator out of the box? You could pull it and have it tested.
Yeah, alternator is externally regulated (whos the idiot that decided that?) - you can wire in an external regulator if you need to. Might have to search a bit to find the info.

quack engineers screwing with good old stuff that works!!
I had an old 94 chevy 6.5 that did the same thing for 5 years when my dad was driving it. My buddy and I dug into it after I inherited it and we added 2 body grounds and everything worked perfect. I'm not saying it will work, but it is an easy thing to try and if it works great. But, if not you aren't out much.
