Default Loose control arm bushings?

When i park at the house i back into my spot so i can load up in the mornings. But ever morning when i leave for work, i get to the end of the drive and hit the brakes and they slam that first time, sometimes puts me in the steering wheel. Could it just be slack in the bushings? its not a brake issue cause its only that first pedal tap then its over for the rest of the day. It scares the crap outta my wife.

You might bleed the brakes just for the heck of it. Thats the only thing I can think of.

I back up at the end of the day as well, and due to the AWESOME torque of our trucks, I have to put the brakes on before hitting the garage. I occasionally notice a clunk, or touchy brakes on my first brake application as well. Probably the drums resetting, as most drums are more effective in reverse than forward. May not hurt to pull the rear wheels and drums and have an inspection.

Mine does it quit a bit to. Just put new hard lines to the back end so all the fluid got changed and bled then, did it before and after in my case.
