the truck listed in my sig....just installed a vp and the airdog about two weeks ago. every now and then when i stop and go suddenly and or take a corner from a stop and go it sputters briefly and then its fine..no codes. any ideas?

i did..cut it as close as i could to the bottom and then some because the tank will sag a bit when in and heavy. cut notches out in it too.

i dont know the fuel pressure at the moment...waiting on the new sensor for my jwa to get here bc the other was bad

but i did take the fuel line loose and just check it in a manual way and it has pressure like crazy to the vp and to the injectors

did you install the airdogs warning light ? that thing reads right off the pump and works perfectly

no i didnt chad...i guess all of the things ive seen about the warning light coming on when its not needed turned me off. i should have the new sensor tomorrow and if its not here then im gonna install my old fpg until it does...it runs perfect all the time except the times i noted...im scratchin my head here

every other time i have the darned thing right how i want it except for just those few moments but as we all know its those little blips that drive us crazy

Did you do a APPS reset when you put the new vp in.Every time I do a VP in a truck I reset it for good measure to adapt to the new pump or replace if needed a new APPS.If you do a reset take any programmer (edge,smarty,etc.) off line.

how do you reset an apps? never done that before?

turn key on but dont start
slowly press accelerator pedel to floor
slowly let pedel back up
turn key off
start truck.......apps is re-calibrated
