Default New torque converter

Was having some chattter and shuddering in the old one so opted for a new one. It had a Banks Billet in it and now has a MSC Billet I think is the brand. Sure shifts a lot smoother. The Mechanic that changed it said that the engagement rod on the side of the trans was hitting the tube in that area and was not letting the banks fully engage. It looked like it hadn"t been in there very long. Also it must have trashed a flex plate in the past as the seal was all scarred and weeping. All changed and will hit the road for a long test this week.
