Default Ignition On Power Source

Where is a good supply for an ignition only power supply under the hood. Don't know why this is so hard but we stared at it for an hour today and can't find any.

Finally gettin around to installing the second electric fan on the cooling system gettin ready for the summer. The first fan is hooked to a temp switch to only come on at a certain temp and this one I want to come on with the truck ignition.

Its only going to be used as a trigger for the relay, so amp draw is very minimal.

The fuse cluster int he cab is wired to ignition power. Power is only available when the key is on. There are a few spare fuse holders that you could use.

you can also run a switch into the cab and run the power straight off the battery. That way you have control and the fan doesn't have to be on all the time. This is how I hooked up the transmission cooler on my truck.

Were hookin em up s that one fan is on low all the time, the other will turn on low when the truck hit's 210 degree's and both fans will have a switch that gives me control of the high setting on them. There drawing power through a relay, the wire for the ignition is just for a trigger to turn the fan on.
