Default crank shaft position sensor

ok well for starters i have a either 01 or 01.5. te guy i bought the truk from says its an ho. but here the question. it had a code for tachometer circuit sensor low. so i went and bought a new cam shaft sensor and crank sensor changed the cam sensor andwent to do the crack. it doesnt even have one. not even a plug hanging were it should be. my dad seen it on my cuzzins 99 right behind the start. but mine now were to be seen.

one more question. if its an ho what would be the the horse power rating stamp on the side of the engine or is there a specifiv vin number thatll tell me also

hello there code 1693 is usually a companion code meaning another code has been stored dont worry about that one specifically, but dont ignore it as its trying to tell you something hope this helps

well. my bigest problem right now is ill be driving in town or highway. and 80% of the time it will have the power its suppost to. well with a power puck chip of course. and if its not at a certain speed or rpm while crusing it do like dead pedal. and just cuts the power down bad like it will start slowing down even if u put the pedal to the floor. and after holding it to the floor for a few seconds itll finally kick down to 3rd and come back to life. itll do it sometimes right after start up. and ill have to shut it off and start over again.

Sounds like your IP is going up.
Here's a link for trouble shooting the pump. How's your fuel pressure?

did u mean vp instead of ip. just wandering if typo. but it should be fine. pump kicks on i believe and runs great when it dont have dead pedal.

and for biged.. i just replaced the camshaft sensor. which does control the injection timing and fuel for the most part. along with tps and boost sensor.

VP & IP are one and the same. VP44 or Injection Pump.
Did you check out the blue chip link? Either the VP IP or it's the APPS.
Have you tried doing the APPS reset yet?
