Still on original pump @146,000 miles. First lift pump went at 129,000. Never had any problems out of the VP yet. Knock on wood!!!

two lift pumps and one VP44 at about 25,000 miles, all replaced under warranty, new new pump has had it's wire tapped for it's entire life, but it's had a FASS feeding it.

On my second one and its dead or dying will need to get another one soon. Should I believe all the hype about all these other vp's or just by a stocker.

Default IMO

IMO, I would run a stocker, you can get all the power you need from a chip, injectors, turbo etc... why mess with the reliability if you do not have to.

Yea this one lasted 2 years and its had all kinds of timing threw at it and fueling. EEP suggested I put a SO pump back on it! This one is not dead yet it just cranks alot to start and smokes white. No dead pedal or anything just real hard to start espeically in the morning or first start of the day.
