check the simple things first. what's your fuel pressure runnin? check the filter again, sometimes you can get trash in the system. check for boost leaks

yes think thats what it was.. truck had been running fine.. then filled up with gas/diesel and within 10 miles started having problems. I cked all the simple things, changed the fuel filter.. nothing looked wrong.. so we drained all the gas out ..it was dirty.. then refilled with diff gas from a diff store and now it runs again until next time. thanks for responding.

I think the general thought is why is GAS being used? I can only hope that the term "gas" is being used in place for "diesel" or "fuel".

yes the term "gas" is being used loosley meaning fuel.. if you read the first and 2nd posts i said diesel.. " just bought deisel fuel " "filled up with gas/diesel" i know the truck runs on "diesel".. i rcvd post from 1 asking if i added gas.. Im not an idiot that does not know the difference between ethanol gas and diesel fuel or if I added gas/ "FUEL" to the truck.

this problem appears to have been SOLVED ..looks to have been because of dirty diesel fuel added. the store may have been at the bottom of their supply when i FILLED up. I replaced the fuel filter, then drained that fuel/diesel - which had gunk/trash in it. cked all the simple things.. then added diff "diesel" (not the same fuel i drained). It has not had a problem since. hope it was just "bad diesel". will let you know if any other problems come up.

Thank you AF1CUMMINS for responding with a reply that helped.
