Swapping blocks?/ Cracked mine
The red circle is showing the tone ring, the red arrow is just showing the 2 piece tone ring off of the crank. The top picture is a 12v crank, the bottom 2 are 24v cranks, it gives you an idea of what to look for.
well bad news it dont have the tone ring
.... now about swapping the crankshaft? do i need to take it to a machine shop or can i personally do it if so How?? and i can get the old block welded up as well but will it last if i go that direction?

Keep the block together and just use the ECM from the 02, which eliminates the need for the crank sensor. If you dont have an ECM, pick one up from ebay or a junkyard. Might need the engine harness as well, not totally sure on that one. Might be able to use your harness and leave the crank sensor connector off, depends on if dodge changed the connectors around or not. This may be your only option if the 02 block does not have a place for the crank sensor to thread into.
