sounds like a eletrical mess to me... i would take it to the dealer if it were me since i hate electrical stuff

I would personally try to do some more investigating before I took it to a dealer. Thats the last resort in my book.
If you turn left and have no problems and then turn right and have problems - sounds like some insulation is worn through and you have a dead short to the body/chassis. I would search out a good autoelectric shop if you are near a major city. How does the truck run otherwise? And codes come up? |
No codes truck runs normal. It hasn't done it since my last post. I pulled apart the under part of the dash and everything looks good. I hate electrical grimalins.

dont feel lonely, i hate them to, im with DR. Evil tho the dealer is the last option. just look over in the areas where theres any movement and pull and clean all the grounds. if you have installed gages, look good under the dash for loose wires (been there done that)
|
Make sure ALL your grounds are good, body to frame, engine to frame etc. If I remember right, there are about 5 grounds to account for.
