easy fix to vacuum pump?

Default easy fix to vacuum pump?
I have a 2500 dodge diesel that has a vacuum pump leak. shop wants $600 to fix. Is there an easier fix than this?

yes its easy...done 2 of em now, order this kit from Gould

GOULD GEAR AND ELECTRIC INC.

Thanks Whit, snowing like crazy here and no where to work on it now so guess it's sits until i get the part and the wheather changes

Yup. The Gould gear kit is THE way to go. I did mine a couple years back. Kit was compete with EVERYTHING I needed, including special "tools", and a DVD that very clearly explained everything.
