What should my 98.5 24valve be idleing at befor my vp went bad and i swaped it it was idleing at 800 now with the new raptor 150 and new vp it idles at 900 is this bad

 

Did this just happen after u had the vp and raptor installed?U cleared any codes that was stored if any.Your ECM needs to relearn your truck.900 is a little high.You can disconnect your battery cables wait 30 mins and then reconnect them and drive it.

 

it it just started it after i replaved the vp and the new lift pump my quad addr. was new to but i took it off to rule it out and no change i mean it perrrrrrs no problems or anything it just used to idle at 800 but i cleared all codes with my hyper tec mac energey that i had befor the quad so what do i do just disconect the battery terminals and let it sit for awhile will that fix my proble bec. it would be nice to have it idle a little lower my truck is loud with the stacks idling at 900rpms
