Just bought an 01 Dodge a week ago. It has a Van Aaken smart box R on it and a BP Torkloc and BD exhaust brake. Have found info on the BD products but can not find any thing on the smart box other than they are out of business. Any help would be appreciated on it.

Have read this site a quite far back and haven"t found anything.

 

Not alot to know about the VA box. 65hp box (120ftlb torque). Good basic box. All solid state so it should last you for years. Not much you can do but enjoy it as because they are out of business the resale value on the box is next to nothing.

 

Van Aaken is not out of business, I believe they just no longer sell their produts in the U.S. I had a smart box and i like it. Definetly woke up the truck and worked great towing.
