Default how many miles

How long do stock injectors usueally last and what are sighns of them going out

Depends on fuel quality, injection pump health. I'm guessing they can go as far as 300k or more. If your getting white smoke along with an engine miss or it runs rough, signs of a faulty injector.

yea when in idle after it is warmed up it has this popping coming from the stack and the rpm jumps down just a tad when it does it but it runs like a top when driving but it is getting worse its like a slight miss

Could be the injectors are dirty also.

you think if i run some injector cleaner threw that might help

you will develop a "small erratic miss". i have seen quite a few sets do that (including mine)

be careful with injector cleaner. remember, your pump is lubricated by fuel.

so my best bet is that the injectors are dirty or need replaced and that should fix my prob. I have talked to so many people and non of them have had this exsperiance.

Blacked out what do you sudgest i do to clean my injectors

Best way to clean the injectors is to add some diesel additive (your preference), hook up a good load to the truck and give it hell. That'll clean them right up. I am always amazed at how well my truck runs after pulling a good load!

After having tried quite a few, I use Stanadyne Performance Formula myself.
