single stack problem

Default single stack problem

i just got my single 6in stack i went to look under my bed to see if where i was going to cut was fine and there is a cross member in the way. i was see if anyone else had this problem and what they did. my kit is a 4 to 6 in stack.

If your talking about the bed crossmember...theb yes you have to cut thru that a little bit, if talkin about a frame crossmember then I think your in the wrong spot because you shouldn't have any problems

you can always move your stack toward the tailgate
just enough to not have to cut throught the cross
member. otherewise, your gonna have to DO IT MAN !

i put my single 6 on it and i had to cut through the bed cross member no big deal i didnt think any way good luck and lets see some pics when done

i was the bed cross member and i cut it ill have the stack on tomorrow and post some pics

i have a quicke and newbi ? on this subject but does the truck (bed area) become weaker in any way when you cut this cross member? A couple of guys i work with said the truck would weaker and that i wouldnt be able to tow reall heavy with it. just wanted to see if there was any truth to this at all.

you will be fine........the cross member is within 8" of the bulkhead so its OK dude
