Shoot... I just cranked mine up and fogged the driveway out with blue/white smoke because is just plain cold out. No I didn't wait for the light I just fired it up and let it stumble a cylinder or two and the idle for a few second and moved it to the shop...

Smoke at startup can range from light mild to full fog bank at startup time which doesn't bother me. But continueous smoke afterwards is a problem and normally points to VP44 problems or injector problems.

Yeah. Mine just puts out the few puff on cold start ups. I have a new vp-44. Hope the injectors hold out!

Drive it. If its just at startup, it wont hurt a thing. Could be seeping a little past the valve guide seals, but nothing to worry too much about. Make sure you use a good quality oil and filter. Might check the turbo just for the heck of it to make sure the seals are still ok in it, outside of that, drive it like you stole it!!

Yeah it's just at start up. There is a small collection of oil inside the turbo and the return line has a little build up at the top of the turbo. About it

Nothing to worry about. Mine blows a little smoke to a full on Spy-Hunter spread depending on weather... Just keep rolling.
