Default 2 Stroke in the Fuel

I started running 2 stroke just last week. I have to say, it's pretty impressive. Although the MPG gain is neglidgible, it's like I lined the entire cab with dynamat... It quiets the engine down so much!

The Supertech is not very expensive and with everything I have read about ULSD, it's a nice piece of mind knowing the VP is getting "somthing" to help increase lubricity.

Anyone else running 2 stroke? How long? Any adverse reactions so far?

How much do you add per tank? I think I am going to try this idea. Any effect on cold weather performance though? That could be a killer up here.
Thanks

Roughly, 1 L per tank. I stock up a lot when I go to Montana - way cheaper down there. Ive been using it for a number of years, and moreso since they brought out the ULSD, as it seems pretty dry.

No problem in the cold either. Stays fluid to about -40.

There shouldn't be any problems running two stroke oil, provided you use the ashless type. 8oz per tank seems to be the norm.

I have used it in my 06 mega cab and now I use it in my 2001. I always add 1 ounce to one gallon of diesel added to the tank...first time I filled it up and added 34 ounces to meet the 34 gallon tank, then the next fill up if I added 23 gallons, then 23 ounces of 2 stroke.....now I am playing around with adding my used oil from the last oil change I did...*flame suit on*....so anyways have added like 20 ounces of 2 stroke and 58 ounces of used rotella. So far no issues... so I am going to check the mileage after this tank.

I have been buying the wal-mart brand is ashless and its like $1.16 or something like that for 16oz. I have been adding 1oz per 1gal of fuel for the last month havent noticed and significant mpg gains (doesnt hurt the mpgs either) but the peice of mind with the extra oil to lube the vp in worth it since the ulsd came along.
