I would not mix additives. ULSD has everything you need except for lubricity. The 2 stroke is whats missing... I stopped adding Power Service Cetane after reading a report that it's actually NON-Beneficial to the VP44.... Funny that my VP crapped out just 2-months after using PS Cetane.... Who knows..

All I do know if that...

1. It's quiter
2. Starts a bit easier
3. Is gaining a little mileage...

Works for me and I'm sticking with it. Why not try? If you don't like it, you can go back to normal in just 400 miles or so...

Ive been running it for a few years now. I usually add 16oz when I feel up.

Lubricity is added to the tankers at the terminals as it is loaded. I asked them while working on some of their pumps. They didn't tell me what the lubricity was though.
But i do add 1oz to 1 gallon of Wally world TC3.

What happens if it's not ashless. I've got Penzoil synthetic, and it doesn't say anything about ashless. I've ran it in two tanks, and noticed a BIG significant decrese in the noise.
Hope I don't F nothing useing the Penzoil. Now I gota do some homework to see if it's ashless.

Your fine... WalMart Supertech and PennzOil are one in the same...

i started to use it, what a difference. my wife likes that the motor is so much quieter, and seems easier to start now that its way cold here in Idaho! no improvement on mileage though.

LOL! It's only 3*F above right now here in New Meadows, ID and the 2 cycle oil is the only thing in my fuel no anti-gel... I've been down to -20*F no problems. I've cover 70K miles and 4 years of using 2 cycle oil. Still hitting 21-22 MPG so I hardly doubt it does damge to your fuel system... Being my VP44 got 109K miles and still going strong!

Wow, somebody actually still lives in New Meadows? j/k.

After all I've ready about this today I'm feeling enlightened. As soon as I get my LP replaced I'm going to set aside the cetane boost and run some of this 2-stroke oil. Seems to make sense and I know its no colder up here in Moscow than down there in NM. Thanks for the info. Learn something new about these trucks everyday it seems.

I can't see why anyone would not run it. Mostley with this ULSD and our 2gen trucks like the sulfer this 2stroke ok is great and beats the hell out of ATF
As Bubba said tho if you have a bad fitting it will leak but o well its worth it for the pice of mind and its why cheaper than all the "supper dupper special" add. you can buy
