Hey all. Recently upgraded my stock lift pump to a FASS DDRP unit. Since I can rely on a steady supply of fuel, I've decided to look into modules. Seeing that the pump won't support an adequate supply of fuel for major upgrades, and the 47RE won't take a big bump in output, I was thinking something along the lines of a simple plug-in setup.

The DiabloSport power puck and the Quadzilla XZT+ are both within my price range for the time being, and in the future I'd like to upgrade to a Smarty once I get the TC replaced with something stronger and more reliable. Until then, I had to ask around what people thought between the two, and possibly take some other advice and recommendations if both of these possibilites weren't well-accepted by the trucks belonging to those on the board.

Any input on either of these [or comparison of both] would be greatly appreciated, even if it's just an FYI, story of a friend's experience, or simply your $.02. Thanks.

 

I would go with the Quad ADR you will not be disappointed at all. Make sure you get it with the Pulse also.

 

X2 on the adrenaline with pulse

I had a stock tranny with my 99 and just didn`t crank the adrenaline up too high to trash my tranny

if you can keep it turned down your tranny should be fine

when your ready to upgrade it turn the adrenaline up and tear it out

 

I will admit though, it was fun as all get out when I turned mine up to PL10 and white smoked the 35's that I use to have on it.

 

Never had any time with the smarty but the Edge comp box has always had my vote

 

Depends on how much power you want. If your looking for a good bump in power get the Edge EZ. If your wanting all out power get the Edge Comp, Edge Juice with Attitude or Adrenaline with Pulse.
