Default need help guys big problem

Guys whatto do my truck just stopped running and i got these 2 codes p0232 and p1689 the 1689 says no communication between ecm and injection pump whats that mean and how do i fix it

0232 is fuel shut off signal too high

1689 is no comms tween the ECM and the pump.................

data link circuit failure

only thing I can think of is to check the wiring into the back side of the VP44 right now.........does it have power???? I dunno if its a fuse deal or what???

Hey does any one eles have any idea on how to fix this problem some one told me my VP was dead shouldnt i get the death code

Yea this really sucks i dont know how to figure out the problem and i got a feeling the VP is shot and i am broke and my oladies car blew up the ther day wih 280 thousand miles on it life couldnt get any worse
maybe some one will come up with somthing

I dunno how but b4 ya write off the VP we need to figger out if the ECM is powering it up..............would truly suck to put a reman VP in then still have the problem

There's a stand alone tester for the VP that does just what Whit is talking about.
The VP can die without the 216 death code, actully it can die with no codes what so ever.
I've got VP/ecm testers in stock if you need one!
