Ok I notice the truck was gettin warm while at idle in drive for like 20 minutes in the drive thru(don't ask). How hot is too hot or when should I be concerned. The guage was half-3/4 of the way from the mid mark of 190 to the next white mark(not to be confused with red) should I be worried? If so what can cause this? I here the fan clutch engaging I'm not losing coolant. I have owned the truxk for 2 months. When I bought it the reservior was empty so I filled it to the line and now it's way over the line where I filled it to and it hasn't moved at all since. this only happens in stop and go traffic or at idle in drive for a long time. Thanks for the help. I am worried. Should I be? Whaere should I go from here?

 

two thing to do dude

first off go to the car wash and clean all the crap tween the intercooler and the radiator, sounds like yer puke bottle wasnt emptied and it overflowed and caused some pluggage on yer intercooler ...............get it cleaned out

second do a good coolant flush on the anti-freeze and do a new thermostat whilst yer at it

this should clear it up bro

ok. Was thinkin crack because I have a 53 block but the truck has 212k on it so I think I'm bieng paranoid
