2002 ram idling problem

Default 2002 ram idling problem

i just got brand new ddp 200hp injectors and head studs started the truck with the studs in and old injectors and truck ran fine then i put the injectors in and the truck done run the same and sometimes while driving under power with gthe edge with att on the truck pops plz help this is driving me crazy thanx guys and pm me if u know what i can do thanx

where did you get the injectors from? how is the fuel pressure? you could have pinched the orings on the injector lines too

they are ddp 200's and fuel pressure is fine to the floor i have 18psi i got them from luke at diesel dawgs

Any codes in it? You can do the key flip trick on an 02. Might be a VP on its way out, not delivering enough fuel...

if u are poping u might not be getting enough fuel not talking pressue but volume try putting like an air dog or raptor or fass system on your truck to up the fuel volume

Well the popping and cracking is fuel pressure or volume, or a incorrectly popped injector (rare from ddp). There's no o-rings in the fuel system besides on the banjo bolts and on the bottom on the injectors and on the connector tubes.

i have a fass system 150 / 150 already so

and also the truck ran fine with the stock injectors but it did pop with the chip with the stock injectors now with the 200's its worse

Smarty and 200 horse injectors? Thats the pop, been there done that. The smarty causes it. Your loosing about 65 horse with that smarty. What other box are you running? Dosent sound like a pump issue sounds like a smarty issue. Are you running smarty on the timing levels?

i actually took the smnarty out and it still does it i have the edge and a van aken box my buddy gave me i hate the van aken

I'm voting you got some junk in a connector tube or fuel line and have a hung injector or fuel leak.
