quadzilla help
we just put the adrenalin box on my buddy's 02 cummins and he cant figure out how to get it to the hot tune. what do the little numbers on the right side of the screen represent? they change with the up/down button but don't seem to make any difference in performance.
basically our last attempt was we went to custom tuning - tune 2 - maxed everything out - save tune, then we set her on 2. it was a little faster but still slow and didn't really smoke very much, is this all she has to offer or are we doing it wrong? all these damn box tuners are confusing to me, they are so dumbed down it doesn't make sense.

does he have the pulse to go with the adrenaline?
did he update the adrenaline or is he still using the tunes that came with it?
did he follow the directions when hooking it up?
how did he tap the vp44?
when i had it on my 99 it was a totaly different truck

Make sure the VP44 wire is tapped. Go to Quadzilla Performance - Home and update the Pulse and Adrenaline to the newest software. I would download the ADR3000 Tune to try out first. Give me a call sometime and I can help ya with the custom tuning.
i tapped the wire, im pretty sure i got it right, it was the one closest to the engine and farthest up right? yes he does have the pulse to go with it, im not sure how he started it up. we tried calling quadzilla but i guess they aren't open on weekends so maybe monday. we messed with the "custom tuning" stuff and its definitely faster but now it makes a nasty noise before the shift, sounds like a ricer poping the rev limiter. it does the same thing when he tries to do a burnout. one thing that confused me was the CAN fueling setting in custom tuning, what is can fueling? another thing i found odd was how it refers to pump stretch, i take it this is another term for pulswidth or us?
CAN Fueling is the fueling controlled by the Computer.
To start I would set both Can Bus and Pump Fueling MIN to 20 and Max on both to 100. Set Fuel Stretch to 1750. Timing to 10. Fueling MAP always leave 100. Boost Scale 30.
Try those and see how it runs.
