before i rerouted my crankcase vent tube my truck would over heat only while towing cause all that oil was getting thrown all over the radiator and wouldn't let air through so re routted it and replaced the radiator power washed the engine and every thing underneath haven't had a problem since

I just removed the canister and extended the blow-by tube down and tied it off to the sway bar, You can barely see it below the truck but my radiator and motor are now spotless.

I have also tossed this idea around as well.............http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SU...6/?image=large

How's the power steering/vacuum pump seal doing? Those are notorius for leaking, and WILL coat your entire drivers side front end with oil.
Check Fixinrams.com for a seal kit.
I find it hard to believe that the crank breather will make that much of a mess, mine barely puts out anything.

Ok I'm going to tear into this this weekend. If the leak is due to this seal you speak of, will it be leaking power steering fluid or oil? I will be re-routing the breather this weekend and replacing the power steering pump since some of the oil on the floor is power steering fluid. Can I buy that seal kit between the pump and the vaccum assembly locally? Thanks much for your help

First thing I'd do get a couple cans of gunk,& clean the heck out of it,then start it see where it comes from. If its the breather, thats a lot of oil pull the baffle&hosemake sure it is clean, especialy inside of it. run the engine with the baffle off see if oil comes out of that big hole if so maybe there an obstruction not allowing it to drain back to the pan,but I think that's not really it. Check for blow by at this point also, with the baffle&oil fill cap off. The inside of the baffle& hose need to be real clean function right. #2 If its the vacum/power steering pump seal(MORE COMMON)get the kit from GOULD it's excellent,Idid mine not too bad,I disconnected the power steering hoses from by the hydro boost,a lot easier than trying to do it by the pump, maybe the return I did down there to drain it. There is a procedure here on the forum that shows how to do this once unit is off the engine.#3 Side cover gasket,This is a "GOODIE" to do also have not done one yet but it's starting to seep,Ithink the power steering/vacum pump unit, boost pipe, maybe ecm, maybe starter have to come off,to get access to the cover,Hope this helps
